I came across this scene while walking around Porto. I was drawn to the symmetry and the sense of nostalgia created by the two empty benches the palm tree. The reflection in the window adds an extra layer to the moment, almost like a quiet memory captured in passing.

I woke up before sunrise and crossed the city in the dark just to catch the bridge in this incredible light. This photograph is the view from the bridge—a quiet moment when the rooftops glow softly and the first birds drift across the sky. I’ve always had a thing for rooftops and birds, and this scene brought both together perfectly.

This was captured on a February morning. I left the hotel at 6 a.m. to cross the city and reach the bridge before sunrise. It was –9 degrees. The romantic and nostalgic feel is what I enjoy most about this image.

We walked to to watch the sun set over the river from Jardim do Morro and ate Pizza. As the sun set, the old Monastery started to glow. Again, flocking birds, my favourite.

I really liked the sense of warmth and calmness in this little area of the beach, away from the main crowds of sun worshipers. Apart from the two ladies on the rock of course.
