Water Resistant by Ben Serbutt draws together deep blues, inky blacks, and flashes of crimson to create a layered visual conversation around strength and fragility. The collage integrates textured patterns, torn edges, and bold graphic elements, anchored by the central motif of the word RESISTANT. Evoking the qualities of water – fluid yet powerful – the piece balances calm expanses of colour with sharp, structured forms. Through this interplay of organic and geometric, Serbutt suggests resilience against external forces while still embracing openness and flow.

Australian collage artist based in London. Dad of two and creative director/designer, getting back into using my hands for creativity as a response to our screen-based world. Originals available.

Our frames are created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin finish.They have a perspex glaze offering great sunlight resistance, protecting your print.
