116th St is a diptych, produced back in 2022 when I was living in Ne York. Inspired by Harlem, jazz and ground culture, I felt moved by the density and vibrance of life there.

Through each piece, I try to express what resonates within me — what sometimes slips away, yet insists on taking shape on the canvas. With Quiet Madness, I explore the idea of gentle intensity — the calm before the storm — an ambivalent feeling, like a powerful emotion rumbling deep inside.

"OK I see you" truly represents a pivotal moment for me in the development of Résonances. The soft colors and dreamlike forms invite acceptance, compassion, and letting go. This process requires a great deal of patience and delicacy. Working with such fluid material demands a confident and controlled gesture. Drying is also a crucial stage — the colors fully reveal themselves as the water evaporates. The wet hue is never the same as the dry one.

With "Ghosty", I focus on materials, pigments, and gravity. I work on raw, unprimed cotton canvas to allow for deeper exploration. The paint pigments soak directly into the fabric, allowing me to play with transparency, layering, and pigment movement.

With "VIBES," I explore the invisible frequencies that shape my emotions. The interplay of colors, textures, and fluid movements reflects the shifting sensations that flow through me, like echoes of an ever-changing inner melody.

With this painting, I invite viewers to embrace impermanence and find peace in the imperfections, enriching their space with a warm, contemplative exciting atmosphere.

"DRIVE" to me really deepens the emotions and sentations I get from sunset drives on the coast during summers. It's the beauty, de peace, the excitment, and reflections that come with it as well. DRIVE evoques a higly colored and vibrant cocktail of emotions that I hope you can feel too !
