This is Haute is both a study of haute couture (high fashion) in form of recognised shoe design and an exploration of the perfect balance of shape and colour. Each piece attempts to reduce the amount of information on the canvas to create a simple composition of line form, colour and iconic style. The work aims to bring a smile to the viewer, but retain a strong aesthetic sense.
